Writing to Read, Writing to Learn workshops are designed to give teachers an opportunity to experience writing-based teaching strategies that will help create more active and thoughtful learning for their students

In this workshop, teachers will be introduced to writing-based techniques that can be used for teaching both literature and grammar 

The workshop will model practices for deepening critical reading and thinking skills amongst our students, for creating a classroom where all students practice their English listening and speaking skills, and where collaborative learning practices are encouraged

The workshop is particularly suited for teachers of intermediate and advanced 5-point students

The workshop is limited to 15 participants

The workshop is recognized for 30 gmul hours of professional development
